The police detained the journalist in a flower shop in the centre of the city (there was a protest nearby). She was taken to the police department, where she was accused of participating in an unauthorized event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and disobedience to police demands (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). She was held in the detention centre until the trial. On November 6, the court found Zakharevich guilty based on police reports and arrested her for 15 days.
