The police detained the journalist when she was covering Sunday's protest action against the presidential election results and the security forces' violence. She was taken to the police department for a «document check». Her professional equipment was confiscated. The police drew up a report on her for participation in an unauthorized event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). The journalist was held in the police for more than 15 hours and released late at night.
