Dzianis Nosau was detained by the police when he was covering a protest against the presidential election results in the center of Babruisk. The journalist was taken to the police department and drawn up a report for violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in the detention center for three days until the trial. On October 9, the court closed the case for lack of corpus delicti.
