Traffic police officers stopped the journalist's car in the city, stating that it needed to be inspected for the transportation of counterfeit alcohol. Then they said that the car identification number could be fake. On these grounds, the journalist was detained and taken to the Leninsky District Police Department of Mogilev. Late in the evening, the journalist was released from the police department, but immediately near the exit, an unknown woman committed provocation — according to her statement, Burakou allegedly jumped on her and pushed her. The journalist was again detained and placed in the detention centre until the trial.
