The police detained the journalist when he was covering the justice march. They took him to the police department and drew up a report on him for violating the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was sent to the detention centre for one day until the trial. On September 21, the court, having considered the case, returned the documents to the police for revision, after which Dzianis Borshch was released.
