At least 43 media workers were detained by security officials on October 11 while covering protests against the presidential election results. The journalist was detained two times in one day. He was taken to the police department «to check the documents». There he was drawn up an administrative report for alleged disobedience to the police (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in the police department for about 10 hours, after which he was released at night.
