The current mayor of Tbilisi and mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze, during his pre-election briefing, insulted Deya Mamiseishvili, correspondent of the Mtavari Arkhi TV channel. Not answering the question about the investigation of the events on July 5, Kaladze said, «There are no bigger radicals in the country than you. There are no people filthier than you. You are at the head, and you are the head of evil, of hatred. You are the personification of all worst things a person can think of».
