On May 19, Sulkhan Meskhidze, head of the news service of the TV25 TV channel (Batumi), said that the Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara forbids ministers and state officials to communicate with TV25 journalists. Meskhidze also specified that none of the journalists could get information from government agencies. «For more than two months now, TV25 has been denied information from government sources. This started after the government got a monopoly on Adjara Public Television», – said Sulkhan Meskhidze.
