Zhanna Aleksanyan, Chairperson of the Journalists for Human Rights NGO, filed a lawsuit against the founder of Yerevan.Today news website Media Plus LLC, its editor-in-chief Sevak Hakobyan, journalist Aharon Hambardzumyan, as well as founders of the News.am and Iravunk.com News.Am LLC and Iravunk Media. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Working hand in hand – based on the interests of the Turks» with a collage depicting Zhanna Aleksanyan with Turkish President Erdogan, billionaire George Soros, executive director of the Open Society Foundations – Armenia organisation Larisa Minasyan, as well as one of the grantees of this Foundation, Daniel Hovhannisian. Later, the article was also posted on two other sites mentioned. The article, in particular, said that all these persons laid the foundations for the collapse of Armenia. The trial has started.
