On July 29, deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Sofia Hovsepyan, filed a lawsuit against the editor of the Hzham.am news website Anna Gevorgyan demanding compensation for damage caused to honour, dignity, or business reputation, and refutation of libel. The reason for the lawsuit was several articles published on the Hzham.am website, in which the deputy was accused of corruption and protectionism. The case proceedings were initiated, and the trial is in progress.
