The regional central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs started a check-up in connection with the Instagram post. On October 17, Bayramov reposted the news about the missile attack on the Azerbaijani city of Ganja. The post was deleted 10 minutes later. The check-up is being conducted on the complaint of representatives of the Armenian community of Surgut under Article 20.30.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity). The journalist was summoned to the Federal Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
