The police detained Yana Trusilo while she was taking photos of the protest action in the city. She was taken to the police department and drawn up two administrative reports: for alleged disobedience to the police (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and participation in an unauthorised event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). She was held in the detention center until the trial. On November 2, the court found the journalist guilty based on the police reports and sentenced her to 13 days of arrest.
