The journalist was detained when she was taking a taxi to the center of the city, where a picket for collecting signatures for alternative presidential candidates was taking place. She was taken to the police station and given the summons to appear in court. The journalist is accused of violating Article 22.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus (cooperation with foreign media without accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
