In Moscow, the magistrates' court fined BBC World News TV channel RUB 10,000 under the article on violation of the order of providing legal deposit of documents (Article 13.23 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The editor-in-chief of the TV channel Yekaterina Yakushenko was also fined RUB 1,000 under Article 13.23 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for violating the order of legal deposit. Yakushenko also received a fine of RUB 5,000 for violating the order of distribution of mass media products to children (Part 2 of Article 13.21 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The magistrate's court also fined BBC World News TV channel RUB 20,000 for another administrative violation of the procedure for distributing mass media products to children (Part 2 of Article 13.21 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation).
