Vorontsov, detained on May 7 after the search, was sent to the detention centre on the extortion case (Part 2 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, he demanded RUB 300,000 from the policeman «for non-dissemination of personal photos». The Moscow head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs requests victims of Vorontsov's actions to come forward.
