On January 18, 2020, officers of the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia banned Ukrainian journalist Taras Ibragimov from entering the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and Russia for 34 years, until May 30, 2054. This happened when the journalist tried to enter the occupied Crimea. Before that, Ibragimov was covering repressions and human rights violations in Crimea.
