The court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan received materials and an indictment from the prosecutor's office in a criminal case, according to which Hasmik Martirosyan is accused of deliberately failing to comply on time with the court ruling in the case of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, which became legally effective. On January 18, 2019, the court of the first instance partially satisfied the claim, obliging Martirosyan to publicly refute the data considered libel and pay compensation of AMD 400,000. The reason for the lawsuit was published articles about Kocharyan. The criminal proceedings were initiated, and the trial was started.
