After the events on July 5, «certain» political leaders demanded that he be removed from the air. This reaction of the authorities was connected to the journalist's statement that «on July 5, the Constitution was overthrown». Guram Rogava also showed blank sheets of paper on-air, protesting against censorship by beating.
