Eka Mishveladze, host of an analytical program on the Pirveli TV channel, found her apartment robbed – the thieves did not touch her valuables but took her two laptops. Mishveladze, former press secretary of the Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, thinks it might have been an attempt to intimidate her and her family after her loud protest over the July 5-6 events when 54 journalists were beaten up in Tbilisi. Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (theft).
