The editor of the 1reg.by (Pershiy Region) news outlet was detained by plain-clothed police officers and taken to Ivatsevichy district police department for questioning as a witness in the criminal case for painting the fence of a local official. During the questioning, the journalist left his smartphone and other personal belongings in the locker. After picking them up after the interview, Pavel Daylid noticed that his phone had been inspected: a Viber group was deleted from his account, and he himself was removed from the chat room administrators. It is worth mentioning that in this chat room, a repost was made of a message that the security forces considered insulting to the President of the Republic of Belarus, which led to the initiation of criminal proceedings.
