A traffic police officer stopped the journalist's car with the hang out a white-red-white flag for allegedly breaking the parking rules and not letting a pedestrian pass. Then, the security officials loaded him into a police van, took him to the police department, beat him, and drew up a protocol on violation of the legislation on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and seized his car. The journalist was released 15 hours after the detention.
