Akim of Kostanay Kairat Akhmetov sent to the editor-in-chief of the Nasha Gazeta weekly newspaper Olga Kolokolova a pre-trial claim regarding the article published in the newspaper on April 16. The claim notes that the article does not fully correspond to reality. In particular, the newspaper reports that akim lives in a building with an area of 167 square meters, but in fact, he lives in one of the apartments of this building with an area of 167 square meters. Akim demands a refutation of the information published including data that the akim lives in an apartment building; - excluding the paragraph that Akhmetov, working as akim of the Kostanay district, travelle from Kostanay, where his personal apartment is located to Zatobolsk and back in the official car, since the distance between these settlements is small. The claim states that the akim did not disclose this information to the author of the article. Therefore, it is based only on the conclusions of the author of the article.
