On June 4, the former head of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan and his parents filed a lawsuit against the founder of the 1in.am information portal Skizb Media Kentron LLC, demanding a public refutation of the factual data considered as libel and compensation for damage caused to honor and dignity in the amount of AMD 2,000,000. The reason for the lawsuit was the article published on May 1 on the 1in.am website, which, in particular, notes that both Vanetsyan's father and mother contributed to the work with the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine. The lawsuit proceedings were initiated, and the case is at the trial stage.
