On February 4, the court brought blogger and freelance correspondent of the Uralsk Week newspaper Aibolat Bukenov and the First Channel Eurasia TV channel to the lawsuit filed by the police department of the West Kazakhstan region as a third party who does not make independent claims regarding the dispute on the defendant's side. The police department insists on the refutation of the information aired on the TV channel that Bukenov revealed 92 facts of violation of the order by police officers, which he promptly reported to the police department. Representatives of the department insist that the blogger has reported the violations only five times over the past two years. Therefore, only five violations actually took place.
