By a court decision, journalist Zhumabike Zhunusova must pay KZT 250,000 (about USD 600) as compensation for moral damage to the plaintiff. Also, the journalist must publish a refutation of the information disseminated in the article «They „came over”... a tractor driver» (DAT | Public Position of February 27, 2020). In addition to Zhunusova, the owner of the media outlet Dara Info LLP was also the defendant in the trial.
