The specialized interdistrict administrative court of Astana arrested activist Aigul Utepova for 7 days for writing a Facebook post about the upcoming rally on August 6 without receiving permission from local authorities to hold it. Aigul Utepova was found guilty of violating the law on rallies. The blogger pleaded not guilty to committing an administrative offence.
