On May 28, an unknown assailant attacked the editor-in-chief of the Kamchatskaya Pravda newspaper Vyacheslav Goncharov. The attack took place near the containers where the victim had parked to dump the trash. According to him, «some psychopathic bandit» ran up to him, hit him, and said: «Do you think if you drive a Land Cruiser, you can do anything?». After that, he disappeared.
