Director-General of the Georgian Times radio station Papuna Gulashvili was physically abused by a participant of the demonstration in defence of the Rioni river and against the construction of the Namakhvani hydropower plant. Gulashvili said that the protesters hit him with the flagpole, as a result of which he received serious abrasions and bruises.
