During the interethnic clashes in Dmanisi (Kvemo Kartli region), Georgian Public Broadcasting photojournalist Mirian Meladze was attacked. When the conflicting parties started throwing stones at each other, some of them deliberately threw stones at a group of journalists. The clashes began on May 16, when a group of unknown persons destroyed the store, on May 17 the clashes became more massive, many journalists faced insults and threats.
