A journalist of the April TV channel was called for questioning by phone to the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. They promised to hand over the summons to the reporter on the spot. Kanat Kanimetov said that he is a witness in the case of Abdil Segizbayev, the ex-head of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the interrogation was related to this. Before the start of the interrogation, the journalist and his lawyer signed a written undertaking that they do not disclose the data of the pre-trial proceedings and were notified in writing about criminal liability for violation of the undertaking.
