At 11 PM, a group of policemen came to the journalist's house in the city of Balykchy, where his relatives live. The journalist himself lives and works in Bishkek. The correspondent's relatives reported that «an order came from the top» to establish Kanimetov's whereabouts, as he allegedly ignores the summons for interrogation. «One of the policemen, it turns out, even frightened my relative by the fact that he would search the house ... and forced her to sign some paper stating that I did not live there», — the journalist wrote on his page on a social network. According to him, the police also interviewed neighbours. On what basis the investigative actions are carried out is still unknown.
