In the city court, an employee of the prosecutor's office interviewed Nodar Meladze, head of the news service of the Pirveli TV channel. The prosecutor's office is officially investigating threats to the channel's journalists after the broadcast of the audio recording of the conversation between Bidzina's son Ivanishivli, Bera, with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and the head of the state security service Anzor Chubinidze. In the course of the interrogation, the questions concerned mainly the origin of the audio recording. “Their goal is to somehow find out who was our source, or who provided us with these audio recordings that provided basis for the investigation” Meladze said.
