The editor of the Basta.info website, Mustafa Hajibeyli, was beaten by the police. He was detained during the dispersal of the rally in front of the Central Election Committee building. The rally was held by candidates for deputies against the rigging of the parliamentary elections. Journalists covering the action were attacked by the police at least 17 times. They faced attacks during the filming of the action while escorting the detained journalists and at the Semashko hospital, where the victims sought medical help. At least four journalists were injured that day.
