The police suppressed an animal rights rally organized by Nijat Ismailov in the Narimanov district of the capital. The action was carried out in connection with the killing of six homeless dogs in an area of abandoned construction. The police assaulted journalists who covered the action (Nurlan Gahramanli, Teymur Kerimli, Awaz Hafizli). The police beat and pushed journalists and confiscated their phones, photo and video equipment, which was returned after the rally.
