The court in Nur-Sultan opened the criminal case against a blogger Aigul Utepova for involvement in the activities of banned organizations. According to the prosecution’s version, Utepova posted on social media networks materials supporting the movements "Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan" and "Koshe partiyase", which are recognized by the Kazakh court as extremist, but in resolutions of the European Parliament are specified as peaceful opposition associations. Aigul Utepova rejects the accusation.
