Journalist Aslanbek Sartbaev was summoned for interrogation to the Military Prosecutor's Office in related to the case of the former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kursan Asanov. Asanov is under house arrest and accused of "abuse of authority" after the storming of the residence of the former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Atambayev. All local media covered this event. As a result, most of the journalists were summoned for interrogation by law enforcement agencies and the State Committee for National Security.
