Polish journalist residing in Uzbekistan and working for The Guardian, Al Jazeera, The Diplomat and Eurasianet, Agnieszka Pikulicka said that she was facing sexual harassment from the side of the individual linked to the security services. She also experienced pressure while applying for accreditation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised her to apply for separate accreditation whenever she wanted to write an article. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs finally rejected her accreditation six months later, although the legal deadline was two months. The next day Agnieszka Pikulicka said that she had been informed that her accreditation would be prolonged.
