The Central District Court of Khabarovsk fined Ishchenko 10,000 rubles (135 USD) for participation in the protest rally on July 26. The journalist was charged with participating in an uncoordinated event that caused interference to the functioning of the vital infrastructure (Article 20.2, paragraph 6.1, of the Administrative Code). On the day of the protest, Ishchenko was not in Khabarovsk. She was detained on August 14 and detained overnight in the police department.
