The journalist was detained by the police while covering a protest against the presidential election results. While in detention, they beat her on the legs in the crotch with batons. When she asked about the reason for the detention, policemen insulted Marina and threatened with murder. They took her to the District Department of Internal Affairs, where she was held for several hours, and released without a protocol.
