Evgeny Nikolaevich was detained by the police while covering a protest against the presidential election results. During the arrest, they he was severely beaten. The journalist was taken to the isolation ward, where he was left pending trial. The police officers drew a protocol on violation of the mass events legislation. The court found the journalist guilty and arrested him for 10 days.
