The journalist was detained by the security forces when he was covering the protest action. He was severely beaten despite the fact that he had a press badge and all press certificates with him. Dzmitryeu was also declared a suspect in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order).
