Police officers came to the journalist’s apartment and showed him photographs of the protest, where was the journalist. They asked him to go with them to the District Department of Internal Affairs, where an administrative report on participation in an unauthorized event was drawn to him. He was held in the detention centre for two days awaiting the trial. On 12 November, the court, based on the police protocol, found him guilty and arrested for 15 days. The journalist tried to explain that he was covering the protest as a journalist and was in the press vest, but the judge did not take his words into account.
