The security forces detained the journalist when he was covering protest rally in the city centre. He was brought to the local police station, where two administrative reports for the participation in an unauthorized event and disobedience to the police were drawn up on him. He was held in the pre-trial detention centre awaiting the trial. On 19 October, the court found him guilty and arrested for 15 days.
