Orynbay Okhasov is suspected of participating in the activities of an organization recognized by the Kazakh court as extremist. According to the police, on August 2 Okhasov posted on Facebook a post calling for anti-government rallies. Ohasov denies the charges. On August 2, he intended to travel to the capital to attend a memorial event for the deceased in detention centre activist Dulatu Agadilu. Okhasov said that his account was hacked.
