The police physically attacked Solomakhin after the detention. He suffered a concussion. After being detained on November 6, Solomakhin was left overnight in the police station, fined the next day and immediately detained again, shoved into the car. He was beaten, strangled, threatened, and was not allowed to eat or drink until the evening of November 8. On November 9, the Central District Court arrested Solomakhin for seven days for covering a protest march on November 2.
