Zaven Akopyan filed a lawsuit against Zhamanak newspaper, demanding a compensation for insulting honour and business reputation, a public apology and a retraction. The reason behind the lawsuit was an article stating that the former deputy head of Armenian National Security services Artur Vanetsyan rewarded his god on with a lucrative position. The lawsuit was accepted and the legal proceedings have begun.
