On October 11, at least 43 journalists were detained in Belarus during protests against the announced results of the presidential election. The journalist was detained, taken to the police station allegedly for a document check and released several hours later without protocol. An administrative report for alleged disobedience to the police was issued to him. He was held in the police for 10 hours and released later at night.
