The Maladzyechna Power Metallurgy Plant filed a lawsuit in defence of its business reputation. Sobytiye published a photograph in which pieces of soap were tied by ropes to a crane. In the headline, there was a suggestion that the plan tried to prevent theft. But the plant director said that this was the work of a “provocateur”. After several meetings in court the two sides reached a peaceful agreement, where the plaintiff dropped his demands in full.
