The journalist was detained on the evening of May 7 and charged with violation of the law on mass events (Art. 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Law). The reason was that on May 5, the journalist was streaming an action in support of blogger Siarhei Tsikhanouski in Mohilev. He was placed in a temporary holding facility and sentenced on May 11 to 10 days in jail.
