Police detained him during the streaming of a live broadcast from a street protest in connection with the refusal of the Central Elections Commission to register presidential candidates Babarika and Tsepkalo. They were taken to the police precinct and a warrant was issued for violation of the law on mass events (Art. 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Law). From the time of arrest, for more than 12 hours there was no information about where the journalist was located.
